Inspired by our founder, Carroll Hoksbergen’s drive to conserve native Midwestern habitat and wildlife, the prairie farm was formed to bring education, resources, and inspiration to those wanting to be a part of conserving the health of our beautiful land.

Our goal is to be in 150 acres of (non-agricultural)backyards, empty lots, and any other space where native habitat can squeeze into by July 1, 2024

Though that seems like a lot, we know with your help we can do it… one yard at a time
